Umaid bhawan Palace :
  Introduction :
 

Umed Bhavan Palace was build by Maharaja Umed Singh II in 1905. The heritage structure was constructed in the Indo Saracenic architectural style with pink sandstone, white khimach and imported Italian marble. The Palace truly offers a royal ambience and is a majestic sight in Kota. In 1930, a new wing was added to the existing palace, which is still the residence of the royal family of Kota, while the Welcome Group runs the rest of the Umed Bhawan Palace as a Heritage hotel.
